Cost of college went up for all students at Saint Joseph Seminary College

Tuition and fees rose 2 percent for 2018-19 at Saint Joseph Seminary College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $18,230 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $362 more than the $17,868 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 47 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 6 students received grants or scholarships totaling $33,948 and 4 students took out student loans totaling more than $21,962.

Including all undergraduates (143), 52 students used grants or scholarships totaling $327,658, and 14 students took out $109,326 in federal student loans.
