House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, along with other prominent House Republicans, gathered on the Floor to discuss the ongoing energy week in the House. Scalise took the opportunity to criticize President Biden's energy policies, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing American energy and protecting national security.

Scalise highlighted the focus of House Republicans on American energy, stating, "This is energy week in the House and House Republicans continue to bring a number of bills to the House floor that are focused on lowering energy costs for America, standing up for American energy, and standing up against the radical extreme policies of Joe Biden that threatened to shut off American energy."

He specifically pointed out President Biden's actions that he believes are detrimental to American energy interests, such as the approval of a Russian pipeline while attacking projects in the U.S. Scalise raised concerns about the impact of Biden's policies on empowering adversaries like Vladimir Putin and funding conflicts abroad, stating, "Joe Biden is helping Vladimir Putin fund the war effort against Ukraine when he crushes American energy."

Additionally, Scalise addressed the importance of standing with allies like Israel, especially during times of conflict. He criticized Biden and Senator Chuck Schumer for their actions undermining Israel's leadership, stating, "Just because his politics are bad here at home, doesn't mean you go and undermine one of your strongest allies in the world, especially in a time of war."

In conclusion, Scalise reaffirmed House Republicans' commitment to supporting American energy, protecting national security, and standing by allies like Israel, emphasizing that they will not waver in their stance despite the actions of Biden and Schumer.
