There were 39 Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students enrolled in St. Tammany Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.5% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that St. Tammany Parish School District welcomed 37,345 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

St. Tammany Parish School District roughly covers schools within St. Tammany Parish and has a main office in Covington.

Among the 57 schools in St. Tammany Parish School District, W. L. Abney Elementary School, Slidell Junior High School, and Whispering Forest Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of three students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
