House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) and other Republican leaders held a press conference today to provide an update on the ongoing investigation into the Biden family's business dealings. The leaders emphasized their commitment to uncovering the truth and holding President Biden accountable for any involvement in his family's questionable financial transactions.

Leader Scalise highlighted the efforts of Republican-led committees in pursuing the facts surrounding the investigation. He noted that multiple committees, including the Committee on Oversight and Accountability, the Judiciary Committee, and the Committee on Ways and Means, have been diligently working together to gather information and shed light on the alleged wrongdoing. The focus of the investigation extends beyond Hunter Biden, with claims that money may have flowed into President Biden's own accounts.

"The one thing that you can see as a steady, consistent theme... is that every step of the way, they've been consistently going after the facts," said Leader Scalise. He also expressed concern over the White House's changing narrative and their refusal to release tens of thousands of pages of alias information to Congress, questioning what they may be trying to hide.

The leaders emphasized their determination to continue the investigation and ensure that the American people have access to the truth. They aim to uncover the source of the millions of dollars allegedly funneled into the Biden family's pockets from foreign countries.

In addition to discussing the investigation, Leader Scalise addressed two other important issues. The first is the freezing of $6 billion that President Biden negotiated to give to Iran, the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism. Leader Scalise questioned the administration's decision to provide funds to Iran, despite knowing that the money would ultimately support terrorist organizations like Hamas.

"Why would Joe Biden want the Ayatollah to have access to $6 billion, knowing it goes to fund Hamas and other terrorism? We're going to be taking a strong stand to freeze that money tomorrow," said Leader Scalise.

The second issue raised by Leader Scalise is the housing of illegal immigrants on federal lands. He criticized the Biden Administration for allowing environmental regulations to be waived to accommodate illegal immigrants, while denying the same privileges to military veterans and homeless individuals. Leader Scalise asserted that federal lands should not be used to house illegal immigrants and announced that a vote on this matter would take place on the House floor.

In conclusion, the Republican leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continue the investigation into the Biden family's business dealings. They emphasized the need for transparency and accountability, ensuring that the facts are uncovered and presented to the American people. Additionally, they pledged to take action on freezing funds to Iran and preventing the housing of illegal immigrants on federal lands. The House will remain dedicated to its work as it simultaneously pursues the truth in this investigation.
