On Sunday, April 6, former Mandeville High School standout Rex Henderson’s current college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northwestern State Demons.
The game took place at Brown–Stroud Field. This was their third matchup against the Demons this season.
The Vaqueros’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. at M. L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park against Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
