House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, along with other Republican leaders, discussed their commitment to advancing former President Donald Trump's agenda during an appearance on Fox News' Hannity. Scalise was joined by Speaker Mike Johnson, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, and Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain in emphasizing their unified approach.

Scalise highlighted several key priorities, including reducing government spending, cutting regulations, promoting American energy independence, and enhancing border security. He stated that there is a strong alignment between the Republican leadership and Trump following a meeting at the White House.

During the interview, Scalise expressed optimism about working as a cohesive government: “Yeah, absolutely. And in fact, you can see President Trump's focus is so much sharper. He really recognizes...we have unified government. We have an opportunity that you don't get often." He emphasized shared goals such as lowering energy costs and controlling regulations.

Scalise also addressed concerns about government spending: “Think of all the slush funds, Sean...The EV mandate...You can't even find a charging station for the thing." He mentioned plans to address wasteful spending through upcoming legislation.

Republican leaders are preparing to implement these initiatives as part of their legislative agenda.
