WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.V. — Today, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) along with other prominent Republican figures convened at the House Republican Issues Conference to discuss key elements of the Republican agenda, emphasizing the prioritization of American energy, border security, and opposition to what they perceive as President Biden's radical policies.

Scalise further emphasized the focus on American energy, mentioning the passing of H.R. 1 to lower energy costs for families and the upcoming "Energy Week" in the House to promote American energy and reduce costs.

Regarding border security, Scalise mentioned the passing of H.R. 2, described as "the strongest border security measure Congress has seen in decades."
