Chamber Member Spotlight - Forever & Always Boutique

Each month the Chamber will share the story of one of its members. This month we are shining the spotlight on Chamber member Forever and Always Boutique.

Robert and Summer Lemoine started Forever and Always Boutique on October 2, 2005. Back then, a booth at Bonnie & Clyde Trade Days in Arcadia, Louisiana and a booth at First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas paid the bills. Starting out with a line of Christian t-shirts that evolved into biker patches and du rags that grew into women’s clothing before adding jewelry, purses, and caps. The business has now grown into a bargain boutique offering clothing and accessories for women and children in addition to some other things.

Fast forward a few years and festivals were introduced to the line-up of events. In 2019, prior to Covid, Forever and Always was attending approximately 32 events each year over multiple states, including Louisiana, Arkansas, Illinois, and Georgia. That number dropped to 0 in 2020 and has become the “new normal,” for now. Hopefully, next year will allow for the return of the festivals.

In 2013, a brick-and-mortar store became a reality. The first location was across the highway from where they are now. In 2016, Forever and Always bought out an existing prepaid cell phone store, B Wireless, that has continued to offer phone plans at huge discounts when compared to “traditional” services.

In 2020, Robert and Summer decided to add insurance to the lineup. This led to the creation of The Lemoine Agency, which now offers critical illness, life, disability, and even dental, vision, and hearing insurance policies. They also offer a health savings account with matching funds for people and a similar plan for their pets.

In the Spring of 2021, they realized there was a need for better internet options and began the search. They now offer Backroads WiFi for people desiring affordable and reliable internet using the AT&T cell towers.

Most days, Robert runs the store until Summer gets off work at Sonic. Sometimes, he is a little later getting there because of making house calls to either demonstrate the internet they offer in a potential customers home or helping an elderly person with phone issues in the comfort of his or her home.

The line of kids’ clothing has increased tremendously over the years, but they try to maintain prices in the pre-Covid range. In fact, they came across an ad from 2015 and still had the same prices on most of the clothing and all the purses and caps.
