Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Aveda Institute-Covington

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Aveda Institute-Covington, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $18,000 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 85 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 325 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.7 million and 515 students took out student loans totaling more than $5.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,357), 1,585 students used grants or scholarships totaling $8.3 million, and 2,015 students took out $14.9 million in federal student loans.
