St. Tammany Parish had one gas station selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.19 per gallon during the week ending Feb. 21, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Reported prices for regular gas in St. Tammany Parish averaged $2.44 per gallon.
Of the 130 reported gas stations located within St. Tammany Parish, 62 offered regular gas.
Across Louisiana, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas remained unchanged at $2.42, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
