On Tuesday, March 4, former Lakeshore High School standout Chris Olivier’s current college team, the Lamar Cardinals, won 11-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rice Owls.

The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at Vincent-Beck Stadium against Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks.
