On Saturday, April 5, former Northshore High School standout Ashlyn Shirah’s current college team, the UAB Blazers, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Wichita State Shockers.

The game took place at Mary Bowers Field. This was their third matchup against the Shockers this season.

The Blazers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 3:30 p.m. at Jane B. Moore Field against Auburn Tigers.
