On Wednesday, April 2, former Mandeville High School standout Rex Henderson’s current college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros, won 20-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rice Owls.
The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.
The Vaqueros’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Brown–Stroud Field against Northwestern State Demons.
